Strolling past the Colosseum and on towards Ponte Sant’Angelo I was struck by the absolute beauty of Rome. There is nowhere quite like it in the world. The history, the architecture, the artwork, the smell of coffee drifting down the side streets, the ice cream and of course, the manic drivers all go in hand in hand!I wasn’t in Rome on holiday, I was here to photograph the amazing wedding of Lauren and Anthony which was just two days away!
In the meantime, however, we had the most beautiful sunset pre-wedding photoshoot – followed by beautiful antipasto and free-flowing Peroni and Prosecco before we finally called it a day!
I returned to Italy to photograph another beautiful destination wedding in Florence exactly a year later!
