Family Photoshoot at Clumber Park

Sun – Kissed Family Portrait Sessions Across Yorkshire & Nottinghamshire

I’ve known Marie for what seems like forever (over 20 years!), so I was chuffed when she got in touch asking for a portrait session with her lovely daughter Eliza. Marie and Eliza decided that they would love to have a family photo shoot with Clumber Park as the perfect backdrop. It won’t surprise anyone who knows me, as I absolutely love it there!

The weather for the photo shoot was unbelievable; the type of weather that I always wish for but rarely get – wall to wall sunshine!

We also scheduled the family photo shoot to be close to ‘Golden Hour’ -the best time of day for photography IF it’s sunny! Marie and Eliza were naturals, and they had so much fun! It’s such a great feeling to watch a family enjoy themselves and document what I see in my family photography. Although I’m probably better known for my wedding photography in Yorkshire and wider afield, I actually have more far more sessions as a family photographer than I do as a wedding photographer!

Clumber Park has become like a second home to me – in fact, we moved to within 8 miles of it just 3 years ago! It offers everything that I could wish for as a family lifestyle photographer: stunning scenery, beautifully maintained woodland from the National Trust, and the opportunity to take beautiful photos all year round.

A National Trust property, Clumber Park is open daily all year. With its wide expanse of farmland, parkland and stunning woodland covering over 3800 acres, you’ll never get bored there. Whether it’s going for a walk with the family dog, a romantic stroll around the lake, or having an amazing photo shoot with me(!), I can’t recommend Clumber enough!
