What a beautiful beautiful day! I had the most amazing day with Liv and Alys on their wonderful wedding day at The Carriage Hall. The sunshine came out to play (for once!!), and the girls had the time of their lives! Here are a tiny fraction of the photos from their big day.

The venue sets the stage for everything when it comes to planning a wedding. For couples looking to marry in a setting that is steeped in history, sprinkled with charm, and finished with a touch of modern elegance, The Carriage Hall in Nottinghamshire provides an unforgettable backdrop. Nestled in the tranquil countryside just 15 minutes from Nottingham city centre, this Victorian-era gem has been lovingly restored into a unique and intimate setting for weddings.

A Venue that Boasts History and Charm

The Carriage Hall, originally a goods shed for the Plumtree railway station dating back to 1895, has been restored by the Perkins Family. The historic character remains but now includes all the comforts of today, with exposed brick walls, original oak beams, and arched windows allowing natural light to flood in. Timeless yet fresh, it is the perfect canvas on which to create your wedding vision13.

The main hall boasts double-height glazed openings with breathtaking views out into the countryside. Whether an intimate or grand celebration, the space will adapt seamlessly to your needs. For those wanting exclusivity, the whole venue and its grounds are yours for the day to make truly personal.

1. A Picturesque Setting

The Carriage Hall’s countryside location provides a tranquil escape without being too remote. Its proximity to Nottingham makes it accessible for guests, while the rural views create a romantic atmosphere that’s hard to beat.
